PACKAGING GUIDELINES
Wherever you are sending us your items within Kuwait, please ensure they are clearly labelled, securely wrapped and include your name, address and contact details inside before they are collected by one of our trusted drivers or couriers. Collections are complimentary if you are in Kuwait.
If you are anywhere in the Middle East or the rest of the world, we can arrange a collection for you using Aramex. We will include shipping costs within your quotation so that you will know your total cost in advance.
We can arrange Aramex courier to send in your items for you.You can either take the parcel to any Aramex drop point or we can arrange to have it collected from you. Aramex will collect during business hours (9am-5pm). We will send you an Aramex label the day before your collection or drop-off date which you will have to attach to the box. Don't forget to follow the recommended packaging instructions below!
If you are sending something in that is worth over $10,000,please let us know so we can take out appropriate insurance. Please wait for our team to confirm the insurance is in place before sending it. Whilst we do have insurance for goods in transit and items are insured whilst in our care in the atelier, Delicates is not responsible for any packages that may be lost or damaged in transit, you will be bound by the terms of our courier partners – Aramex. If you do require additional insurance please inform us in advance.
Please ensure you follow the best practice for packaging, which includes:
- Line a sturdy box with bubble wrap and ensure that light colored items (especially light colored patent or suede) aren’t touching anything of a darker color. This includes fabrics, paper and other shoes or bags. Please try to keep your dust bags at home.
- Label the bag you put your items in with your contact details. You can also drop a business card or note into the bag if it’s easier.
- Check your bags for any forgotten valuables prior to sending.
- Take care the box is sufficiently packaged then seal it.
- Please ensure the Aramex shipping label we sent you has been clearly and securely attached to the box
- All of your items will be traceable and confirmed at each stage of their journey. However, if the worse were to happen, Delicates is not responsible for any packages that may be lost or damaged in transit and you will be bound by the terms of the courier – Aramex.
When your items arrive in our atelier we will send a confirmation of receipt so that you know they arrived safely, this will be an email with photographs of your items.
Your items will then be put through an assessment process where we will reconcile what you’ve asked us to do, or what we could see in the initial photos you had sent us, and what we had quoted you for. Should there be any extra work we didn't quote you for, we will let you know about it and quote for it - you are however completely free at this time to decide to do the extra work or not. It really is up to you.
When your items are ready to be returned, you will be sent a link to choose a preferred return date and as per the collection, Aramex will text you on the morning of the delivery to coordinate a delivery time with you.
